Bob is a business lawyer whose practice is focused on corporate and commercial law. Bob is a director and principal of the firm.

Experience

Bob has advised clients with respect to the following:

  • Share and asset purchases involving both public and private companies
  • Shareholder and partnership agreements
  • Corporate financings involving loan agreements, debentures, general security agreements, corporate and personal guarantees and subordination agreements
  • Creation of mutual funds, including preparing declarations of trust, management, service and distribution agreements

In addition to his legal experience, which included fifteen years with Torys, one of Canada's leading law firms, Bob has substantial business experience as a result of having started and operated a sizable mutual fund management company which was later acquired by Altamira Financial Services.

Credentials

Bob received his LL.B. from Dalhousie University and his B.A. (Political Science and Economics) from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Ontario Bar.
