Echo Wu

Echo will be joining the firm in the fall of 2012 to complete her articles of clerkship.

Professional & Community Activities

At law school, Echo was an Associate Editor for the Journal of International Law & International Relations and the University of Toronto Law Review - Year in Review division.She volunteered as a caseworker with Downtown Legal Services (tenant housing and refugee law) and Pro Bono Students Canada at the Ontario Human Rights Commission. She has also worked as an intern in the field of criminal law. Prior to law school, she was a maritime professional at a multinational company in the US, where she gained experience in freight markets and global commodity trading.

Credentials

Echo is currently at the University of Toronto completing her third year of the J.D. program. Prior to attending law school in Canada, she was educated at the Oxford University of England and Peking University of China. She obtained her B.A. with high distinction at Peking University in English literature and linguistics.

Echo is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese.
