David joined firm in the spring of 2012 to complete his articles of clerkship. His training and practice is focused on litigation and cross-jurisdictional and international matters.
David volunteered as a caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, as well as a member of the executive committee of Queen’s Pro Bono. In addition, he worked as a legal intern at the U.S. Committee for Human Rights in North Korea (HRNK) located in Washington, D.C., and at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
David holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University with a certificate in Public International Law. He is in the process of completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Queen’s University.
David also received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems at the University of Texas at Austin (2006).
David is fluent in Korean and conversant in Chinese and Japanese.
