Experience

Dariush Keyhani serves as counsel to Heydary Hamilton PC on U.S. and international intellectual property matters.

Mr. Keyhani regularly serves as lead litigation and trial counsel in patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright litigation matters in federal courts all over the United States and consults clients in all areas of U.S. intellectual property law and licensing.

Mr. Keyhani previously served as a visiting professor of intellectual property law at the National University in South Korea where he taught graduate law courses in intellectual property law to examiners at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO). He also previously worked at the international law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP as well other highly regarded Manhattan and New York law firms where he focused on intellectual property litigation matters.

Mr. Keyhani was also the founder and first Editor–in–Chief of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal that is now subscribed to by the leading law schools in the United States and is regularly cited. Mr. Keyhani regularly publishes in academic law journals as well as trade journals on a variety of intellectual property law, international, and civil procedure issues and is regularly invited as a guest speaker and panelist at international forums on intellectual property law. Mr. Keyhani has served as an adjunct on the faculty of SUNY Buffalo School of Law where he teaches courses on intellectual property law and litigation.

Mr. Keyhani is admitted in the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Western District of New York, New Jersey District Court and NJ Bar and is regularly admitted pro hac vice in federal courts around the U.S. .

Nav–tv Corporation, Inc. v. Vociti Technologies , LLC72 117 00463 JEMO (2010, American Arbitration Association)(obtained judgment intellectual property license agreement and damages);

Air Vent, Inc. v. Shandex Industrial Inc. , 08 CV 5375 (2009, District Court for the District of New Jersey)(obtained consent judgment of validity and infringement of the two patents at issue);
