Rose obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 2004 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2005. Previously, she obtained a Bachelor of Science (with Distinction) from the University of Toronto.

Rose is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and conversant in French.
