Kathy's practice is dedicated to resolving disputes and finding practical, creative solutions to problems. Kathy offers mediation services, assisting clients to resolve disputes both prior to the commencement of litigation and during the litigation process. Kathy's litigation and intellectual property experience combined with her background in civil engineering are of particular assistance in resolving corporate/commercial, employment, intellectual property and construction disputes. Kathy practices out of the firm's affiliated office in Ottawa.

Community Involvement

In addition to her professional affiliations, Kathy is vice chair of the Professional Engineers of Ontario Registration Committee and a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario Fees Mediation Committee. She is a former member of the Child and Family Services Review Board and the board of directors of the Glebe Centre, a retirement home in Ottawa.

Credentials

Kathy received her B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) and her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. She has been a professional engineer since 1984.

Kathy is fluent in English and conversant in French.
