Review of Disclosure Documents: from $700.00*

For this fee, we will: review all documents that are usually provided to a prospective purchaser of a franchise, advise you as to your obligations under these documents, and implement minor changes that may be necessary.   The documents that we will review include:

•  Franchise agreement

•  Lease and/or sublease agreement

•  General security agreement

•  Indemnification or personal guarantee agreement

•  Offer to purchase

•  All other documents provided as part of the disclosure package

 

Setup of a New Franchise System: $10,000.00 to $25,000.00*

For a predetermined fee within the above range, we will handle all legal aspects of setting up a new franchise system in Ontario . In particular, we will:

•  Advise you on your obligations under Ontario's franchise law

•  Incorporate and organize a new company

•  Register one trade-mark

•  Draft the following agreements:

•  Ontario's disclosure document

•  Franchise agreement

•  Sublease agreement

•  General security agreement

•  Indemnification or personal guarantee agreement

•  All other related documents

We are determined to be the most competitive law firm in Ontario when it comes to setting up new franchise systems. Accordingly, we will improve a written estimate by any competing Ontario law firm for the setting up of a new franchise system by 10%.
