Canadian Trade-mark Applications: $1,000.00 Filing fee per Trade-mark

  • Includes our legal fees Cdn $729.00 for filing of your application ($694.29 filing fees plus $34.71 GST);
  • Includes government application fees of Cdn $250.00;
  • Includes NUANS (corporate) search fee of Cdn $21.00 ($20.00 search fee plus $1.00 GST)

The above fee does not include our legal fees for subsequent work done on your trade-mark, such as reviewing of documents from CIPO, responding to office actions from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), responding to any third-party oppositions etc. 

If we render any additional legal services to you, the additional services will be billed on an hourly rate. The rates of our Lawyers range from $160.00 to $590.00 per hour.

Copyright Registration: $500.00

For this amount, we will advise you on Canadian copyright law and register your copyright with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. This fee includes all filing fees related to your registration.
