Heydary Hamilton PC, one of the leading law firms located in downtown Toronto, is currently seeking a litigation assistant/law clerk.
Candidates must have experience in a law firm setting and a firm understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure. Candidates must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include assisting lawyers in all aspects of their litigation practices including preparation of court documents, dicta typing, drafting and preparing correspondences, filing and managing confidential documents, maintaining electronic records and other administrative tasks.
Interested candidates should be highly motivated, able to work individually and in a team setting, and must be able to follow instructions with meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience in civil litigation would be an asset as is a genuine willingness to learn.
