Heydary Hamilton PC, a leading law firm located in downtown Toronto, is currently seeking an experienced litigation assistant/law clerk.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years and maximum of 15 years experience in a law firm setting and a firm understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure. Candidates must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include assisting lawyers in all aspects of their litigation practices including preparation of court documents, dicta typing, drafting and preparing correspondences, filing and managing confidential documents, maintaining electronic records and other administrative tasks.
Interested candidates should be highly motivated, able to work individually and in a team setting, and must be able to follow instructions with meticulous attention to detail. Candidates should have experience in civil and commercial litigation matters and must possess a genuine willingness to learn.
Salary: $35,000 - $55,000 yearly depending on experience.
